About Me
I believe home should be a beautiful expression of you
Get to know me
Growing up, my family enjoyed traveling together. No matter where we lodged, my mom’s first words upon arrival were, “I need to ‘make home’”. That was her way of saying it was time to set up, organize and create that feeling of home regardless of our location.
My mother has always been a woman of impeccable style and grace, with an intense love for home and family. Her example, paired with an entrepreneurial spirit, fuels my passion to help my clients make the most of their home spaces as well. Whether it’s one room, or your entire home, I truly believe surrounding ourselves with beauty and comfort is a worthwhile venture.
My Design Values
Create beauty through design
The best design creates spaces that are unmistakably “you” and strikingly beautiful. It welcomes and comforts all who enter. Above all, it creates a feeling that surrounds you every single day.
Home should be a haven
Everyone needs to feel “at home” in their space. We often find ourselves rushing through life and our homes should serve as a place to rest, recharge and renew.
Everything in balance
Traditional, farmhouse, modern, cottage or none of the above. We all have unique style and self-expression. Good design requires balance and the seamless blending of old and new.

I’m inspired by historic architecture, the beauty and colors of nature and sweet memories made within the walls of my own home.
It’s a Saturday morning and I’m probably getting lost in the latest issue of Southern Living over coffee. Design inspiration is everywhere. I see it strolling through historic towns, hiking the hills of Tennessee, sitting on the floor surrounded by a jillion fabric samples. You’ll see these influences in the way I bring texture and personality into homes and in the way I blend old and new.
A little more about me…
I grew up in East Tennessee, took a detour to Alabama and returned to Tennessee after I graduated from college. I then married my ball-playing college sweetheart and we have two amazing kids, both adopted internationally. Since becoming empty nesters, we also adopted “Pete”, the cutest rescue pup ever. My favorite day involves family, food, and sunshine...a good road trip, with snacks, doesn’t hurt! My greatest joys are faith, family and home.

Design Tip:
If you have an antique armoire or hutch with good bones, freshen and add style by painting or papering the interior. Add new hardware for a beautiful, updated look!
